Using theater games to play with power

Theater is also all about power—who has it, who doesn't, and what they're going to do about it. That is what actors are taught to analyze: how power moves throughout a play. That is why, when Cyndi Suarez wrote The Power Manual, I brought my thespian background to her work and we developed theater games to accompany the book. Now those looking to apply the power frameworks that Cyndi lays out can also practice playing with power, as a way to embody the knowledge of power.
We offer these power games as part of our "Mastering Complex Power Dynamics" workshop series at Big Soul and create special projects around The Power Manual frameworks and games.
